At the beginning of this month we released a new version of ClearlyTalented.  Our focus for this release was improving usability – making things more intuitive and providing better context sensitive help as a backup for when we don’t quite get it right.

Many small changes were made to the user interface. Highlights include:

  • Expanded and context sensitive help for every page of the solution
  • New signups start with a much improved list of competencies
  • Improved presentation of the Likert and 5 Star question types

We hope you enjoy it!

ClearlyTalented is poised for its best year in 2010. Along with a 100% renewal rate for the 4th straight year we are looking at boosting our new account business with a great promo.
For the first 2 months of 2010 ClearlyTalentedXL has waived our set up and implementation fees allowing new clients that have had budget concerns from last year to start with our solution with little cost to their HR budgets.
The response has been fantastic and we look forward to announcing some significant client sign ups over the next few weeks. We will keep you posted!

ClearlyTalented had just launched our newest landing page, www.clearlytalented.com which highlight the our features and benefits of our online performance reveiw solution.  Along with some clients endorsements we feel that this should set up 2010 as a banner year for our company.

There is always the struggle of starting a company and having the necessary resources to market yourself to the world.  ClearlyTalented along with our marketing partner Praffeo www.praffeo.com has worked hard over the past few months to deliever a message that ClearlyTalented is the simpliest and easiest performance review solution in the market place.  With our new landing page, the HR Professional, Departmental Manager or Business Owner is going to be able to see the benefits of the online solution along with our “free” reviews and begin the process of signing up and performing employee reviews with ClearlyTalented.  No more paper, no more frustration.

A new feature was added to ClearlyTalented today.

Supervisors can now optionally print review comments that were hidden from the subject during the review.  When viewing an individual’s review on the report tab supervisors will see a check box control near the print button that toggles the display of review comments that were previously hidden by the supervisor.

As always these comments will not be available to the subject of the review.

ClearlyTalented XL is very pleased to announce that in 2009 we had 100% renewal on all exisiting clients.  This restates the fact that the ClearlyTalented XL Employee Performance Management solution continues to be the standard when it comes to a configurable, simple to use and effective way to complete the tedious tasks of managing employee reviews, appraisals and goal setting.  With a broad range of clients representing areas of Banking, Colleges/Universities, Cities/Municipalities and others we look forward to another year with these clients as well as our most recent clients who see the PerformanceObjects suite of solutions as the right choice for performance mangement.

This weekend ClearlyTalented was enhanced with the addition of three new question types:

  • 5 Star
  • True or False
  • Yes or No

When you want review participants to rate the subject using a 5 Star scale select this new question type. By clicking on the appropriate star reviewers provide input to overall scoring using the following scale: 1 Star = 20, 2 Stars = 40, 3 Stars = 60, 4 Stars = 80, and 5 Stars = 100.   As always reviewers can also add comments.

When you need a Boolean answer from your review participants you now have the choice of two new question types: True or False and Yes or No.  Both of these new question types are non-scoring and allow the reviewer to add comments.

For more information see the ClearlyTalented website.

We are always happy to receive feedback from our clients when they are utilizing our Employee Performance Management solution. One of our most valuable client verticals is in the area of Cities and Municipalities. Because of the their unique format and processes PerformanceObjects has been able to configure our ClearlyTalented XL solution to meet those very specific needs.
Over the next few weeks we will be testing and working with our existing City clients and coming out with a a version that we are tentatively calling our “City Version” performance management solution.
We look forward to making a more formal announcement and will keep you posted.

ClearlyTalented Launched!

September 28, 2009

Today we are launching a back-to-the-basics approach to employee performance management in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model. The solution is designed specifically for small and medium sized businesses, but also works great for teams working in larger companies.

ClearlyTalented is defined by its ease of use. By eliminating a lot of the “bells and whistles” found in other solutions, PerformanceObjects has created a cost-effective system that allows managers to provide feedback to employees and peers.  During sales calls and follow up over that past few years, we have found that employee buy-in and change management are more quickly achieved when the application is user-friendly and not positioned as a stand in for good communication.

We have been selling enterprise-level employee performance management systems to businesses of all sizes for a number of years and the resounding message we have heard is: ‘There are great systems in the market, but they are overly complicated and we really need something easier to use.’ In response, we have rolled out ClearlyTalented. Now business managers have a simple, economical solution for managing employee reviews. They can sign up at the ClearlyTalented website and begin using it immediately.

The system offers quick set up with templates for creating reviews, or managers can use their company’s existing reviews as a foundation for building a custom template. Managers have the flexibility to invite peers to rate an employee’s performance, with comparative reporting providing leaders a birds-eye-view of their team ratings.

Business executives and managers interested in learning more about the system are offered free access for the first three performance reviews and additional reviews are available at one low cost. For more information, visit ClearlyTalented.com.
